The schoolfield project is a result of the city moving to make the building safe. The home owner was given 30 days to make improvements or face some rather restrictive and costly outcomes. We have partnered with God's Pit Crew on this project and they have provided not only labor but also materials. We had 22 volunteers to show up and begin the process of pulling out the windows on the lower level and replacing them as well as building a new porch on the back.	Front Porch was falling in on the family.	The rear steps were in need of repair.
The windows all around the house were in badly need of repair with many of the panes broken or missing.
God's Pit Crew was able to replace the front porch with donated materials and labor.	The Averett Football squad volunteered their time to paint and frame the windows on the lower level of the house. Coach Dunlevy and "DE BOYS".	We still need to replace on window on the lower level and raise enough funds to replace the windows on the upper level. We have had $100.00 donated for the windows and need about another $300.00.
