Operation Christmas Child

Coordinator

Jo Ann Bell (Hillcrest)

This is a ministry held in corporation with the Samaritan's Purse.

Operation Christmas Child is a project of international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse, led by Franklin Graham.

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of collecting shoeboxes of gifts that are sent out over the world to needy children for Christmas. The Association WMU collects volunteers and acts as a collection center. The volunteers collect the boxes, pack them into crates, and loas them onto a tractor-trailer to be shipped to the Samaritan's Purse reception center. They are then checked and distributed to children all over the world.
